Our Main Lodge rooms were built in 2007 and in June 2008 we added our new East Wing rooms.

Rachawadee Resort & Hotel was built in 2007 in an eco-friendly way. It is the result of a Somjaiwong family dream to bring to their hometown of Khon Kaen, Thailand, an oasis of tranquility and fine dining for vacationers and business travelers.

The keystone is Kinaree Restaurant, serving all the popular Isan dishes, as well as many original creations.

The Somjaiwong family are avid travelers and have collected many decorative and operational ideas from around the world to incorporate into Rachawadee Resort & Hotel including environmentally friendly methodologies and wheelchair accessibility techniques.

You will also see the many wheelchair ramps throughout the resort.

The Somjaiwong family are involved in the community with several public service activities, and the elders of the family have a legacy of public service to the Khon Kaen community.

In addition to Rachawadee Resort & Hotel, the Somjaiwong family export antique and garden furniture to North America and Europe.

Dining : Kinaree is a favorite of Khon Kaen locals and their families.  Visiting dignitaries and statesmen often include Kinaree on their itineraries.

Shrimp Pad Thai   Our expert chef comes to us from years of experience in well-known 5-star facilities.  He takes pride in bringing his skills to RACHAWADEE.

Guests can choose to dine in air-conditioned comfort in the historic and scenic Kinaree dining room, take a romantic garden table near a trickling waterfall, or spread out with friends on the Kinaree deck.

Our Kinaree Main Dining Hall seats 100 in air-conditioned comfort. Our outside Deck and Garden seating can accommodate another 100 diners.

In addition to our Kinaree Main Dining hall, Deck, and Garden seating, our Summit Arboretum adjacent to Kinaree seats 100 for dinner, giving us a capacity for serving 300 diners at a time.

Pool : The year-round temperate climate in Khon Kaen is perfect for tanning and swimming.

Guests love to gather round the RACHAWADEE Pool for relaxation and socializing.  The water temperature is very comfortable all year long and your favorite snacks and beverages are just a phone call away.

Our special kiddie pool is only half a meter deep, perfect for kids to have safe fun!
Families love to swim at RACHAWADEE and a sunset dip is a wonderful way to wind down the day!

There's a special stage for functions at poolside.  Our pool is popular for parties day and night!

Fitness : Our Fitness Center is unique in that it is open-air on a clean tiled floor under a solid roof and has a beautiful view of the RACHAWADEE Pool and lush garden foliage.

The treadmill and stationary bicycle are professional quality, clean, and in the best condition. 

Our Traditional Thai Massage : staff are fully trained, certified, and licensed in the ancient art of traditional Thai massage.
